Update: It looks like the 10,000 booking / $1,000,000 max was reached and the deal is now dead.

We’ve seen plenty of Black Friday and Small Business Saturday sales over the past few days, and so far all were a huge disappointment (except for the AMEX Small Business Saturday deal where we landed $180 in free stuff). The one that has all along seemed the most promising is the $100 off a hotel booking from Orbitz.

The Deal

You can get $100 off a hotel booking of $100 or more on Orbitz from Dec 1 – 8 by paying with Visa Checkout and using promo code “Visacheckout”.

How to Get It

1. Beginning on Cyber Monday, December 1, 2014 head to Orbitz.com and sign up for Visa Checkout (if you don’t already have an account): Visa Checkout Signup Link.

2. Head back to the Orbitz.com main page and complete a search for a hotel booking with promo code “VISACHECKOUT”
3. If you’ve applied the coupon correctly, the rate is still available, and their are participating hotels within your search region, you should see the following message at the top of your search:
   
4. Follow through and complete your booking and make sure to pay with Visa Checkout and you should see $100 taken off of your hotel price at final checkout.

Don’t Forget:

• Hurry and book ASAP. I’m not sure of the limit but the main booking page implies that they’re only giving away $1,000,000 which likely means that the $100 promo code an only be used 10,000 times before funds run out.

BOTTOM LINE: Make sure you get in on this great deal for $100 off a hotel room! If you plan your booking well you might be able to end up with the room being completely free so there’s really no reason not to jump in.
