Here’s an example booking for a spring break trip to Venice, Italy-VCE:

This same exact trip would cost you only 25,000 Flying Blue miles + $247.94 roundtrip in economy

Using our Award Ticket Calculator tool, I found the following:

This trip returns a value of 2.96 cents/mile for the booking, I consider this to be a good use of Air France/KLM Flying Blue miles and a good use of AMEX points (if you can transfer from there)
