As I’ve said before (The Club at ATL – Atlanta’s Newest (and best?) Lounge and JFK Terminal 4 Lounges/The Oasis Lounge), which lounge I go to is often a function of which one will let me in. However, at BWI, the Airspace Lounge is the only (domestic) lounge, so that adage is a little less relevant. Here are your entry options:

Because I had a First class ticket (Acela only has either Business Class & First Class), I was able to check out the ClubAcela lounge in Washington while I was waiting for my train.
You’ll need to present some credentials to make it past the doors to the luxury that lies beyond. Here are the ways to get into the Lounge:

If you’re looking for a great lounge to pass some time at the Nation’s Busiest Airport: Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport (no big deal, only about 260k people pass through everyday! About 20% more than runner-up Beijinng-PEK), might I suggest The Club at ATL.
As I’ve said before in this post (JFK Terminal 4 Lounges/The Oasis Lounge), which lounge I go to is often a function of which one will let me in. The Club at ATL is by far the least exclusive of all ATL lounges–to get in you’ll need to show some credentials, your choices include:

The SkyClub in Terminal B of Cincinnati’s Airport is, by far, the most spacious I’ve been to in a while. It feels like it was built for 2 to 3 times more people than were there on my visit.
This brings me to my question: “Is Cincinnati’s (CVG) Delta SkyClub the most depressing lounge?”
I wouldn’t call it “depressing” in the normal sense of the word, in fact it’s quite the opposite of depressing. It’s new-feeling, bright and quite spacious. It just seemed way under-used.

En route to Georgetown, Guyana and having just gotten finished with the free transfer from LGA to JFK, we had a lengthy layover in JFK. At the time of our trip, there were extensive renovations underway at the airport.
The flight was set to leave out of JFK’s Terminal 4, the main international terminal. It’s a pretty popular terminal and in fact, it’s the only one at JFK that isn’t operated by a specific airline. They say that, even on your first visit, you’ll feel right at home given that it’s been the setting for many movies: The Terminal, Syriana, Get Him to The Greek etc….
