WKND PICK: WHERE WE’RE HEADED THIS WEEKEND
Guess where we’re headed tonight? Well, first we’ll be singin’ along to every single Hootie and the Blowfish song at tonight’s concert… And THEN…
Yep, that’s right, we’re headed to Edisto Island, one of my favorite places in the world!
Edisto is one of South Carolina’s Sea Islands and offers what most other beaches don’t: almost nothing. There’s no hotel, no fast food restaurant and no stop light on Edisto.
Welcoming all visitors is the “Mystery Tree,” a tree in the middle of the marsh that has been mysteriously decorated each season. And, inviting all those leaving the island to one day return is the “bikini tree lady,” something we’re sure no other island can proudly claim.
