Thanks so much for putting this together. I have often told stories of piano bars in the back of DC-10’s and on 747’s during the 1970’s but the stories are rarely taken seriously. I was young, but the video is exactly as I remembered it . A couple of additional points. The DC-10 (widebody aircraft) was were land in smaller airports, including Buffalo and Rochester. On a flight from Rochester, NY to New York LGA or Chicago, American would routinely fly these DC-10’s equipped with these bar’s in the sky.40 years later, regional jets make up most of the service on these short routes if you’re lucky. But I can remember flying a 55 minute flight from Buffalo to New York and going to the lounge.

The other side note is “THE PLAYER” with the lighter is Henry Winkler a.k.a. “THE FONZ”…Forget about smoking in planes today, you can’t even bring a lighter anywhere near an airplane. I would like to share this with the http://www.passportpremiere.com community. It may also be shared with the business & first class community at http://www.1st-air.net……

Will get it out sometime in July
