McCown’s Weekend Pick: Headed to New York!
Quick weekend getaways are always the best, and this weekend is going to be one of the most fun because I’m headed to New York!
My best friend, college roommate and current rommate, Kristen, is getting married (!!) and she asked to go to New York to celebrate and, more importantly, shop.

We’re leaving early tomorrow morning and coming back Sunday night, for a full two days and one night in the city! So, what do you pack when you’re going on a quick two-day trip to the city of high fashion?
Here’s what I’m packing…
Saturday: Peplum lace top from Zara & jean shorts. Paired with snakeskin flats because we’ll be doing lots of walking!
Saturday night: We’re going to my favorite restaurant in the world for dinner, so I’m packing a ruffled top from Zara and dress shorts.
Sunday: We don’t have any plans for Sunday yet, so I’m packing a light summer dress that will be good for the MET or Central Park…and then for the plane ride home.
