I can’t remember for certain if the club benefits were a result of being SPG Platinum or if it was a benefit of the room. I will say that an upgrade to a suite seems to be standard for SPG Platinum so I think either way the club would be accessible.

I emailed the property a few weeks before the stay and they responded that “Being our loyal SPG Platinum member, an upgrade to Junior Suite is complimentary for you.”

Thanks for that. Also you mentioned about being in an Executive Room with Club benefits etc. Did you use points to upgrade to that or was that due to SPG Plat?

Hi, no unfortunately it wasn’t included. We paid $84 US for the roundtrip transportation. It was a bit steep but we decided it was worth it to have someone we could trust from the hotel waiting at the airport for us.
