You’re right, when buying points outright from Points.com it will cost you $13.50 per 1,000 points = $67.50 points. But when you use the loophole (outlined here: http://www.weekendblitz.com/blitz-guide-book-priority-club-hotels-for-35night/), you can purchase 10,000 points for $70, so $35 for 5,000 = $35/night for PointBreaks nights. To exploit this loophole, however, you have to have points to start with. Image attached showing that the rate is still live.
